SooZe Yoga offers different disciplines and levels of Hatha Yoga, ranging from modified/easy classes for beginners, to more challenge for those with previous yoga experience. More dynamic class options include: Body Blend, Essential Pilates, Tai Chi for Arthritis. Class size limited to a maximum of 20 to ensure your safety and optimal benefit in a lovely tranquil setting. Teachers are available to offer individual adjustment and advice appropriate to your level of practice.

Chair Yoga - with Sue Williams
Chair Yoga is a gentle,
fun, supported approach to a yoga practice which is specifically modified for people facing physical challenges,
chronic pain or who experience limited mobility.
Chair Yoga is suitable for people of all ages who may be recovering from illness or surgery or for those who use a wheelchair, walker or cane. A perfect class for seniors or for those with body challenges who would enjoy a good stretch while gaining flexibility, strength and a release of tension.
Accessible parking is available plus elevator access to the second floor yoga studio location.

Easy Beginner Yoga - with Sue Williams
A great place to start! A beginner level practice, appropriate for people who are new to yoga or for those who would enjoy an easy, slow paced class. This class is an upbeat, fun but gentle introduction to basic yoga poses along with alignment principles to ensure a safe practice. This class will help you to gradually develop flexibility, strength and stamina while releasing tension and stress. Suitable for all ages, levels of fitness or physical ability. Modifications are provided to those with body challenges. Everyone is welcome. Appropriate for all ages, level of fitness or physical ability.

Yoga
& Body Rolling - with Tangi Bell
Working with different sized inflatable balls,
Yoga and
Body Rolling principles, along with focused awareness of the breath, this
practice creates space and balance, resulting in healthier
movement and greater structural integrity in our bodies.
Yoga & Body Rolling helps us to gain an understanding of our anatomy and to learn to listen to our body’s innate intelligence. Once we develop greater awareness of our internal state, our bodies respond more freely and effectively. We can enjoy a conscious sense of well being that starts in our physical practice and extends into our daily lives.
Yoga & Body Rolling
is a wonderful program suitable for ALL. It deepens a yoga or meditation
practice, can improve sport disciplines of any type, removes physical tension and
emotional stress, plus creates positive, healthier changes to any lifestyle.
Each class will focus on a particular body area and finish with a back routine and guided relaxation – Savasana.

Beginner Plus Yoga - with Sue Williams or Gillian Grodzik

Still a beginner level, this class is faster paced offering more options than the Easy Beginner class. A great introduction to yoga for those who are relatively fit but are new to yoga or for those with basic yoga knowledge and skills who would like to ease more challenge to their practice.
Classic yoga poses along with alignment principles will be taught with options for a deeper practice. Appropriate modification provided for those with less experience or with limited flexibility.
This class offers an invigorating stretch for tight or restricted areas of the body plus a release of tension and stress.

Yoga Sun Salutations - with Sue Williams
Beginner Plus
Unwind, de-stress with an active class focusing on the classical Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskara. Greet the Sun and begin your day with an invigorating series of yoga postures which flow through a natural sequence, linked with breath.
Surya Namaskara is a classical vinyasa series, designed to wake up and energize the entire body. Best for those with previous yoga experience.
Feel free to stay afterwards for a cup of tea and conversation. The kettle will be ON!
Traditionally
Surya Namaskara ~ Sun Salutations, are practiced at dawn in a series of 12 repetitions with
each repetition consisting of 12 distinct postures or Asanas.
Sun Salutations are a perfect microcosm of a complete Yoga practice
- including almost all the elements of a complete practice: the linking of
breath and movement, forward bending, back bends, strength work,
and a mild inversion.
