Class options at SooZe Yoga range from modified/easy classes for beginners, to more challenge for those with previous yoga experience.  Class size is limited to a maximum of 10 participants allowing individual attention in a welcoming tranquil environment.

Yoga Class Description



Yoga Class Registration

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY - CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED

1.  Contact Sue Williams to book your spot in the class of your choice - subject to space availability.  Priority is given to those currently registered. 

2.  Make Payment in Advance. Your registration can only be guaranteed once payment of class fees has been received.  Payment is accepted by Debit, cash or cheque payable to SooZe Yoga. GST applies to all class fees.  

3.  Fill out the Registration and Waiver Forms.  Obtain the forms by clicking on the links below.  Please print both forms, complete them and bring them with you to your first class.  If you are unable to print the forms, copies are available at SooZe Yoga. 

The forms only need to be completed once, as long as the information remains current.  If there are any changes to your contact information or with regard to health concerns, please update the Registration Form with the current information and bring it to your first class.

Yoga teachers are available at SooZe Yoga 30 minutes before and after currently scheduled yoga classes to receive payment, to provide registration details, or for consultations.

SooZe Yoga Policies and Information

Register Early to ensure your choice of time slot, each class is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.  Classes fill quickly, your spot in class can only be guaranteed upon receipt of payment. First come, first served.  Registration for the next yoga session will begin three weeks before the end of the current session.  Priority is given to those registered in the current session.    

Class Fees payment is accepted by Debit, cash or cheque made payable to SooZe Yoga. Cancellations for pre-paid classes will receive a full refund if notification is received 7 days in advance of the class start date.  Once the class session begins, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

Fees listed apply to classes held within Oakbank and the immediate surrounding area.  Requests for classes outside this area will be subject to an additional fee.       

 Chair Yoga & Laughter Yoga Classes  are Drop-In only, no prior registration is required, a great deal at $5/class (includes GST)

Yoga More Often for two or more classes each week, receive a  discount of $1/class.  GST is extra.    

10% Discount for Seniors  for those 60 and over.  Ask for your senior's discount when you register for a yoga session at SooZe Yoga.  Does not apply to Chair Yoga,  Laughter Yoga, Yoga More Often or Drop In's.

Make Yoga Class a Priority in your weekly schedule avoid leaving the class early.  The energy and flow of the class is disrupted if someone leaves before the class ends.  The practice of yoga is much more than an exercise program, the benefits of your practice must have a period of silence at the end to integrate those benefits completely through body, mind and spirit.  

Missed Classes -  Please make a commitment to attend your class. No Makeup Classes offered for missed classes within the session.

While no formal make up option is provided, participants are welcome to Fly Standby" to make up a class if needed.  You are welcome to arrive a few minutes before the beginning of class in a time slot that is convenient, then wait to see if there is an available spot.  If there is room, you are welcome to stay to take the class.  If the class is full, then please try again another time.  

Participants are welcome to choose this option to make up classes, however missed classes must be made up within the current session.  

If a yoga class is cancelled due to poor weather or road conditions, a make-up class will be offered within the current session.  

 Long Weekends + Holidays - classes will be held during long weekend holidays, unless specifically noted in the class schedule.  In most cases there is a one week break between yoga sessions, no classes are held during this break.   Check the yoga class schedule for details.   

Arrive Early be respectful to others and yourself by allowing time to settle in and be ready to begin class on time.  Classes start promptly, don't be late.  The front door is locked five minutes after the start of class.   

Body Challenges or Injury please inform the instructor prior to class if you are pregnant, have serious health concerns or have a pre-existing condition, recent injury or surgery.   

What to Wear + Bring wear stretchy, comfortable  clothing, dress in layers.  No special footwear required, yoga is best practiced in bare feet (socks can be worn for reclined poses).   Bring a small blanket or a beach towel to cover up during the relaxation/meditative components of class.   

Fragrance Free + Breathe Easy please do not wear perfume or fragrances to class.     

Bottled Water is available at SooZe Yoga for a suggested donation of $1/bottle - proceeds are donated to local community groups/charities.

Yoga Mats and Yoga Props are provided for your use at SooZe Yoga.  For hygienic reasons, it is recommended that you eventually obtain your own yoga "sticky" mat.   

Drop-in's are Welcome $15/class (includes GST) subject to class size and space availability. Please contact Sue Williams in advance to discuss drop-in options.

Gift Certificates are available for private, semiprivate or group classes - a great gift for any occasion.
